  11. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Joost Kemink, I am a student in
  12. computer science at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
  13. I am currently developing software using MacApp, but I am running into some
  14. problems now and then.

  16. I want to create a window that behaves like a palette, such as in MacPaint. So
  17. if there is a document window on top of it, the document window should remain
  18. active when clicking in the palette. However, the selection in the palette
  19. should be adjusted according to highlight the new tool the user has chosen.

  21. Are there any sample programs that use this feature, or has anyone some
  22. information about this topic?
